1. Project Background

Darren, a client from Canada, approached us with a comprehensive signage requirement. The project included single color Front-lit LED signage modules, 26mm/50mm pixel point lights for storefront branding, LED power supplies, controllers, and complete signage installation kits. This was a complex multi-component project requiring precise coordination and technical expertise.

LED Strip Lights and Pixel Modules for Custom Integration Project

The Challenge

A client needed a custom lighting solution combining three different LED products: DC24V UCS1903 RGB LED Strip Lights, Rotating Lights, and Pixel Module Chain. All three products needed to work together seamlessly following the client's specific wiring diagram.

Key Challenges:

•Wiring incompatibility between M8 terminals and flat wires
•Chip compatibility risk across multiple manufacturers
•Terminal wire limitations (3-core only)
•Inconsistent cable types causing installation confusion

Our Solutions

1. Adapting Terminal Wires

Switched to modular M8 terminals with flat wires (4.8-4.9mm width) and applied potting for waterproofing requirements.

2. Standardizing Chips

Insisted all three products use the same UCS1903 chip from a single manufacturer, eliminating communication risks.

3. Creative Terminal Workaround

Used Type A (3-core) for signal+power and Type B (2-core, data unsoldered) for power-only connections.

4. Cable Standardization

Replaced transparent flat wires with black flat wires matching the rotating lights for consistency.
